Matthew Mangels, Senior Consultant

Mr. Mangels has worked in the
Information Systems technology arena for the past five years.
With experience as a Principal Certified Lotus Instructor,
Principal Certified Lotus Professional, and a Certified Public
Accountant, Mr. Mangels brings a unique perspective to
consulting and training projects. Having worked in-depth with
Lotus Notes and Domino for the past six years, he is able to
synthesize an organization's Information Systems as a part of
their overall financial model. Since joining the Innovative
Ideas team, Mr. Mangels facilitates Level I & II training
courses while developing Lotus Notes applications and consulting
on Lotus Notes and financial business transactions.

His ability to help audiences
breakdown complex topics into sets of simple tasks has proven
its effectiveness in the classroom and consulting environments
for both Information Systems and financial material. While
leaving audiences with a complete understanding of the topic,
they are also better prepared to effectively communicate the
material to their peers and coworkers.
Prior to joining the Innovative Ideas staff, Mr. Mangels worked
as an accountant for the public accounting firm of Landa &
Altsher, P.C. In addition to the standard auditing and reporting
functions for both for-profit and not-for profit entities, he
designed Excel applications, aided in the design of accounting
systems for mid-sized organizations, and trained clients in the
use of a variety of accounting packages. By formal education,
Mr. Mangels holds an undergraduate degree in Accountancy and a
Master's of Science in Taxation, both from Bentley College.
